Description
Introducing the ZWO Off Axis Guider Astrophotography (OAG)
You use an Off Axis Guider (OAG) if you do not want to use a guide scope, or if you want to be sure that the connection between the guide camera and telescope is as tight as possible. In particular, the use of an OAG is highly recommended for all SCT telescopes. The ZWO Off Axis Guider astrophotography is an excellent and affordable solution for this.
The Off Axis Guider is mounted directly on the telescope, with the guide camera on top of the Off Axis Guider and the main camera behind the Off Axis Guider.
Mounting
See the picture above for installation. This shows you how to connect the guide camera and the main camera to the Off Axis Guider.
The Off Axis Guider body is only 16.5mm thick. In most cases, the Off Axis Guider can therefore be fitted in between the configuration.
With the necessary adapters it is possible to get both cameras sharp.
