Rainbow Astro RST-135 goto mount
The RST-135 uses a new type of gear, tensile wave gear transmission, also known as harmonic transmission (more specifically strain wave gear, a more affordable variant of harmonic drive). Due to the strong power of the harmonic system and the motor, a counterweight is not required. The mount weighs only 3.3 kg, but you can mount a telescope of 13.5 kg on it. We call this a breakthrough in lightweight mounts. The volume and weight of the holder is no longer a problem during a trip. Should this trip consist of astrophotography being the goal.
Equatorial or Azimutal
The Rainbow Astro RST-135 can be used in both equatorial and azimutal mode. You can change the operation of this mount in an instant. Ideal if you want to look up something quickly without having to go through the goto procedure.

De RST-135 maakt gebruik van een nieuw type tandwielen, trekgolf tandwieloverbrenging, ook wel bekend als harmonische overbrenging (meer specifiek strain wave gear, een meer betaalbare variant van harmonic drive). Vanwege de sterke kracht van het harmonische systeem en de motor is een contragewicht niet nodig. De montering weegt slechts 3,3 kg, maar je kan een telescoop van 13,5 kg erop monteren. We noemen dit een doorbraak in lichtgewicht monteringen. Het volume en het gewicht van de houder is niet langer een probleem tijdens een reis. Mocht deze reis eruit bestaan dat astrofotografie het doeleinde is.

De Rainbow Astro RST-135 is zowel in equatoriale als wel in azimutale modus te gebruiken. In een handomdraai verander je de werking van deze montering. Ideaal als je snel iets wilt opzoeken zonder dat je de goto procedure hoeft te doorlopen.
