Description
Orion Dobson telescope N 254/1200 SkyQuest XT10i IntelliScope
A world opens up for you with this Orion SkyQuest XT10i Dobsonian telescope. With an aperture of 254 mm (10 inches) and a focal length of 1200 mm, you have a beautiful telescope at your disposal for mainly visual observation. Orion has turned this Dobson into a so-called push-to telescope, which means that you can select an object from the database via the hand controller and arrows indicate the direction in which you should push the telescope.
This large 10-inch (254 mm) reflector telescope collects plenty of light for clear images of nebulae, galaxies, star clusters and close-up studies of the moon and planets. Partly due to the large aperture, it will be able to observe much more detail than with telescopes with a smaller aperture.
Take a “push-to” tour of the sky with the included IntelliScope Object Locator.
The SkyQuest XT10i IntelliScope’s Object Locator hand controller tells you exactly where to point the telescope. To view one of the more than 14,000 celestial objects in its database, simply select the object you want to view using the IntelliScope controller’s menu buttons. Then follow the direction arrows on the controller’s screen to point the telescope exactly at the desired object. Or you can press the Tour button to select one of the 12 tours of the best objects visible in a given month.
Delivery of the Orion SkyQuest XT10i IntelliScope Dobsonian telescope includes:
