Description
German-type mount. Recommended for both steady or temporary use. The mount is composed of an aluminium alloy, cast aluminium, bronze and stainless steel. The motors and the wormwheel-drive are put in a heavy case, reducing the risks of pollution. Clutches are placed on both axes.
De Fornax 51 montering is geschikt voor waarnemingen op verschillende locaties alwel als vaste opstelling. Met een eigen gewicht van 35 kilo is het geen licht gewicht montering. De montering is bij uitstek geschikt voor astro fotografie maar ook visuele waarneming is uiteraard geen probleem. De montering kan een gewicht dragen van 40 kilo.
Het geheel is alleen de montering met tegengewicht as, er zitten wel motoren ingebouwd, maar geen besturing. Een FS2 en een Pulsar kunnen worden gebruikt.
De bestruing is eventueel mee te bestellen bij de montering.
