Description
Celestron 9.25 inch padded telescope bag
Celestron has launched a whole series of new bags for different purposes. These “padded bags” are lined with a kind of foam, so that your optical instrument or tripod is well protected against bumps.
This bag fits a 9.25 inch Schmidt Cassegrain telescope, both the normal version and the Edge HD version. The walls of the bag are lined with 16 mm thick EPE foam. Inside the bag are adjustable straps to secure the telescope. This keeps the telescope firmly in place.
At the top of the bag is an extra storage compartment for various accessories. Such as your eyepiece, viewfinder, diagonal or other items. Ideal because it is separate from your telescope and can therefore not cause any damage.
These new bags are also available for the Schmidt-Cassegrain 8 and 11 inch telescopes and for tripods and any tripod with mount. Depending on the size of the mount and tripod. All are lined with foam and have room for the necessary accessories. The 40 inch padded bag is also suitable for transporting an entire telescope set, such as the StarSense Explorer series for example. We will try out exactly which models fit in and we will mention it with the relevant article.
