NexStar SLT

Most Celestron NexStar SLT models are also suitable for viewing terrestrial objects. You can use this telescope with a power adapter or with batteries. However, batteries (rechargeable) are not recommended.

The Celestron NexStar SLT telescopes are excellent for taking with you. Easy to carry in three parts. Due to the high accuracy of the servo motors, the mount hardly emits any vibrations.

Using Celestron’s Sky alignment, you can start observing in an instant, all you need to do is enter the date, time and location. And then aim the telescope at 3 random bright stars. Intended for the telescope to continue tracking cleanly when following this procedure. You don’t need to know names and you can even use the moon and planets.

To prevent malfunctions, it is therefore desirable to use a 220v / 12v power supply with an output of 2.5A. It turns out that using rechargeable batteries can cause malfunctions. This can break the motor board.
