Or the focusing device which is provided with indexing. So that you can immediately see where you set the focusing device to be sharp at a certain distance.
The accessory platform will remain attached to the tripod. It easily folds inwards for storage.
Smartphone photography
The dust cover on the front of the telescope can also be used to attach a smartphone. The dust cover is placed on the eyepiece, the smartphone with the camera aimed through the hole above the eyepiece. Now you can take pictures through the eyepiece.
With this you can get surprising results on the moon and even the planets.
