You can safely observe an Eclipse with Eclipse glasses

These Eclipse Sighting Goggles allow you to safely watch the sun during the Eclipse. Or if there are sunspots to observe, you can also use the Eclipse glasses.
Looking at the sun in any form is harmful to your eyes without proper protection!

These eclipse glasses attenuate visible light and filter harmful radiation so that the eyes are fully protected.

To comfortably observe the solar eclipse, eclipse glasses must fit properly. That is, you must be able to move your hands freely. If you wear regular glasses, then the eclipse glasses should fit over them without difficulty. By the way, without your everyday glasses, you can’t see too many details of the darkened sun.

Do not use damaged or neglected eclipse glasses that you still have at home. Think of your precious eyes! If it turns out that the filter is not strong enough then you may not continue to watch. Try out the glasses in advance and don’t wait until the day of the solar eclipse.

NOTE: It is sometimes said that a computer diskette, a CD, a black photo negative or a candy wrapper also filter sunlight. THESE ARE NOT SAFE METHODS! Direct sunlight is blocked (like strong sunglasses) but the invisible ultraviolet and infrared rays are not filtered and can cause blindness!
